Gosh it seems like a life time ago that this was shot, due to terrential rain I’ve not seen my amazing photographer for over a week now. I am starting to have withdrawal symptoms as she really does amaze me me with her talent. How she makes me look like this, really is beyond me at times. Anyway it is really about the clothes and not me, and boy oh boy am I in love.
I have got to start with the boots, there are loads of snake print boots out there at the moment and they are all beautiful but these are just something else. The texture is unreal and they are super super comfy. I am so in team flats these days so when I say they are comfy I truly mean it (think fluffy slippers). They are from River Island and they are a bargain bonanza, £40 to be precise. I am considering buying the knee high version also, I would pair them with a suede colourful mini or a boho dress, what do you think?
The grey wool jumper is also from RI, what can I say, I am so in love with this shop at the moment. You may recognise it as I blogged about the mustard version a while back. Yes, I loved it so much that I went and bought it in another colour. This colour was reduced so it was a no brainer, £25 for a jumper that I live in, yes please! I have just seen they do it in a dark purple too, is three a crowd in the jumper world?
The wool long shorts were something I pulled out of my oh i’ve not seen you in a while rail. They are from Topshop circa my University days when wearing wool shorts was cool, bit like culottes now. I am sure if I hang onto them long enough they will come back in fashion. The khaki green colour was the reason I brought them out of their slumber. I love this colour at the moment, it can be matched with so many colours and still look valuable. Can you call clothes valuable? Well I just did so……..
I am really looking forward to my next post, it is going to be fun, colourful and quirky…… stay tuned!
I love hearing that you’ve bought items on my recommendation. Keep the comments coming, they make me smile.
Until next week,
