Well hello there, what a busy week I have had. Good busy, all pleasure, no pain. This weekend I hopped on a short train ride to London to spend time with my friends from my university days. We are dotted all over the place, Canterbury, Leeds and Milan so when we see each other we try to make the most of it. Oh and man alive we did! The highlight being dinner, drinking and a little dancing at Sketch. Have you been there? If not, you must, it is epic, in fact I am planning my next visit there as you read. Anyway less about my social life and more about this phenomenal co-ord.
So I am actually in love with this co-ord from h&m. I am not normally a lover of h&m but I was convinced to give it a browse by my shopping buddy. This was shortly after spending my life savings in River Island, AGAIN, so I was in complete “Nope I am not buying anything else mode.” I thought I was safe entering the shop with the red writing but how wrong I was. There was so much glitter that nearly tempted me to those changing rooms but I remained strong, then this bad boy caught my eye. A co-ord and cat print, ahhhh I couldn’t resist. I quickly checked the price thinking that it would surely put me off, NOPE, £19.99 for the blouse and £12.99 for the shorts, BARGAIN BONANZA!
They only had one size left in the shorts, they weren’t my size but I was in so deep by this time that I was determined they would fit me. Fortunately for me and my shopping companion the bigger size was a hit. I’m not really a lover of a short short so I enjoyed the way they hung a little. Now my lovely readers here is the best bit, it is half price in the SALE! It is fair to say that I am no longer going to give h&m a miss, keep your eye out for more purchases on here and on my Instagram page.
I was so happy that I got to wear my new love in England in NOVEMBER all thanks to these OTK boots. If the co-ord was my new boyfriend, my OTK boots are my husband. They literally make every outfit happy and if you follow me, you will know I live in them. I have actually started telling random strangers in River Island how epic these boots are, as they try them on. Some may think this is slightly odd, I see it as sharing the fashion love.
I paired this outfit with my faithful Boy Chanel Flap Bag, I treated myself to this little number when I went to Dubai earlier in the year. If you are looking for an investment piece, this is the one in my opinion. Chanel is timeless and totally worth selling one of your vital organs for. Of course the finishing touch was a hat, not only do I need it to cover my ever changing hair colour but it also makes an outfit just that little bit more wow. This felt cap is from Ted Baker, I love their range of hats and have purchased many from them in my time.
I literally can not wait for the new year when I can dedicate more time to my blog baby but until then I will be trying to post one a week at the least.
As ever please comment, ask questions and share the love.
Till next time……..
