It may seem a bit extreme to talk about an item of clothing as ‘the one’ but I have been on the hunt for a shearling coat for quite some time. I’ve hummed and hawed over a number of high street wonders, however I wanted something that was just a little bit different. Nothing seemed to quite say “I’m the one” until now.
If you have been keeping up to date with my posts or my Instagram feed, you will know that I have had a major asos sale haul. This shearling and suede coat is a part of that haul, reduced from £235 to £85, FYI. I bought a number of coats thinking that I will only keep one but I love them all (whoops). It is because of this haul that I have a new brand crush and man I have fallen hard. I just love urbancode london and this beauty is another purchase from them. The coat is super cozy and amazing quality. I heart the leather detailing on the elbows and the fact that there is lots of room for a wooly jumper, for when the weather properly turns.
The rest of the outfit is a mix match of designer, vintage and high street, which in my opinion is the best combination. This floral midi skirt comes out all year round, as in my opinion florals aren’t just for spring. I bought it in a vintage shop in Whitstable for a matter of pounds. In the summer there is an amazing hut on the beach that sells vintage clothing at a great price. If you are ever in Whitstable it is well worth a look.
The stripy top is Marks and Spencer, I literally pair this top with everything whether it goes or not (sorry about that). The boots are Primark, they have been featured a few times as they are quickly becoming my go to boots, they are so comfy. The Mini Cara bag was a splurge, it’s Mulberry and worth every penny. It is the most versatile bag ever! It is a shoulder bag, a rucksack and as you can see here, it can also be held. It has loads of room in it and of course being Mulberry, it is amazing quality. The quilted napa leather is stunning. If you are thinking about investing in a new bag, I definitely recommend this number. Mulberry only goes up in price so it’s better than putting your money in stocks and shares.
So there you have it, my crazy little outfit. What do you think? Do you like to mix different styles?
